Sketch paint is a 2 componet,waterbased topcoat, based on a PU-acrylic dispersion. |
|
| |
Sketch paint turns practically every smooth surface into an erasable surface for whiteboard markers. |
| |
Here applies: the smother the finish, the easier it can be cleaned. |
|
| |
If you want the surface to be magnetic than fist apply Magnet Paint. |
|
|
| |
Sketch paint is available in white and transparent. |
|
|

Surface: |

|
|
|
|
| |
The surface must be clean, dust free,dry,free of grease and smooth. |
|
|
| |
Non-intact, poorly adhering and peeling layers to be removed, Abrade Surface and intact paint layers and completely |
| |
with 220 grit or equivalent abrasive paper or scuff pad. |
|
|
| |
Avoid irregular or highly absorbent surfaces, Application on stone,wood,hard plastic and metal. |
| |
New surfaces first be treated with a suitable primer. |
|
|
| |
The white version should be applied on a uniformly white surfaces. This prevents applying several layers Sketch paint. |

Mix the two components according to ix instructions below: |

Add the Hardener(Tin A) from the small can in his whole to the painting in to the large can(Tin B). |

Stir well for 3 mins,wait for 5 mins to allow bubbles to disperse from the mixed sketch paint. |

(If necessary, dilute maximum up to 3% with fresh water). |
|

Pot life(processing time) approx. 1 hour to maximum 2 hours. |

Application: |

Pour the mixture into the clean roller pan. |
|
|
|

Make sure the roller is completely covered with paint and roll it over the surface of the roller pan to distribute the |
| |
paint evenly, apply the paint over the entire area between the tape strips. |
|

Apply the layer as follows: |
|
|
|
|

Start in the upper left-hand corner. Paint a strip that is about 50cm wide. Apply the paint evenly. |

Always start with horizontal strokes (see illustration A) and then roll the paint on in vertical strokes without |
| |
stopping in the middle of a strip(see illustration B).Always roll the paint on with even and smooth movements. |

Then continue by painting a second strip of about 50cm.make sure that there is a slight overlap with the first strip |

Always apply the paint fully "wet on wet'. |

For larger areas ( an entire wall),make sure you have a long enough handle on your roller. Repeat this until the area |
